I had pretty low expectations for this system but was surprised by the sound quality that came out of this thing! It has a 1/4" mono output that you can connect directly to your sound system and you're good to go. The mics each run on (2) AA batteries and just work. absolutely easy. The range wasn't as advertised, but if you don't have that many walls you're probably good.
