The unit arrived but after carefully following the directions and trying other places following directions we came to the conclusion that for some reason the car didn't included is the programming mode according to the given instructions. Maybe my model is different in quantity or it needs to be programmed on the machine. In any case, the device was unusable because the program instructions failed for my 2000 Pontiac Grand Amse Auto. I will give this to a friend and if it works for her I may change the rating to a 4.
