I got this as an alternative to the popular giraffe as I thought my 7 month old daughter would want to teethe on it as she teethes on other toys but she does didn't seem to like her real teethers. I think it's easy to clean, but (according to the instructions) you have to put your finger over the buzzer hole when washing and rinsing, and if you don't I'm not sure if it's mold resistant. I don't feel a squeaker is necessary and my daughter seems put off by it. The dog likes it VERY much though. It chews gently and while I don't usually spend that much on a dog toy, at least someone likes it because baby definitely doesn't like it. However, he keeps the dog, hence the 4 stars.
