Too many variables affect the results.

In laboratory conditions, I have no doubt that the thermometer will be accurate. But maybe it's just me, but I've had trouble getting a consistent temperature. read. The problem could be the distance I was holding the thermometer from my forehead, or the part of my forehead I was aiming at, or it could be proximity to an air conditioner vent, or a number of other issues. In any case, I don't trust myself to get a valid pace. read.
