I read the description and a few reviews before buying this for my preschooler for school lunch. We tested them before school and I wouldn't call them recyclable. Plastic is thinner than single-use containers like clove instant breakfast or single-serving milk. These containers are easy to clean and last longer. There is a ring on the lid that snaps into place on first use, think again of single serve milk bottles and then stays on the bottle to give it a disposable look. Really disappointed with the quality and not at all what I wanted. They are also not dishwasher safe and the sponges that come with them are of poor quality. Difficult to remove milk/milk smell.
