Review on 🎨 Emooqi Watercolor Paint Set: Richly Pigmented 42 Colors + 6 Metallic Colors + Brushes + Paper - Portable Painting Art Supplies by Karla Richter

Very poor quality, empty containers and disappointment.

I didn't need another set but these looked very nice. I love watercolors and was blown away by a video and reviews. I don't know what happened but my kit doesn't live up to the great reviews I've seen. I jumped to snag it for what I thought was an amazing set at an amazing price. In my opinion it's not even worth the price I paid and I feel cheated because I just can't use this set. Thats so bad. I am very disappointed in the poor quality of this set. The photos don't even give a fair idea of how bad this set is. It's a good presentation in a box and a nice glass. Water brushes are decent too. That's all I can say positively. i feel generous * The sheets looked dull and weird, some of the colors aren't even full halves as you can see from the photos, they are too small and don't even reach the rim of the pan. . That is nonsense. Short customer change. You should fill the pot. *One of the things that made me want to own this set was the metallic. you blinded me Well, as you can see, none of the pots are even half full. This is so wrong! I can almost see a couple's butts, they're so empty. They are all cracked and the pigmentation is TERRIBLE. I couldn't even get it to show up on the unfortunate chart of coated samples. I then switched to a very poor "watercolor paper". I gave up. I had to clean and rummage through these pans to get almost nothing out, and I probably used up most of the nearly empty pans to deal with what I got. A couple of them also have a weird movie on them. So if I wanted the set to stand out, I'm pretty frustrated.* As I said, the paper is of poor quality. I wasn't expecting it to be great but it's so oddly soft and flimsy and flimsy. I wouldn't even use it for swatching. I've given up once again.* Why make a watercolor sample card on glossy coated paper? Stripes, lack of pigmentation. Makes me angry. I can't even tell if the colors are good because the map is fighting me. But I kept going. waste of time and effort. You see what horrible colors are on the card and the metallic doesn't hold up at all. They weren't much better on paper. Lots of scratching, digging to get some color and they don't spread, layer, mix. There are points and sharp lines. Terrible. Unsuitable for use. The tip of my water brush is marked from trying to get the pigment and although the tips don't stain, this color left my tip a dark bluish purple. * There is no single number, no color name to help you identify what you are using. Nothing. These are problems I haven't encountered with any other set. Wonderful. That's a huge minus. I have no idea what's what. *After deciding to try the metallic pattern on the included paper I figured why not see other colors, maybe they would work on paper. Again I had to rub and rub the brush to get the smallest pigment and between paints and poor quality paper it was so frustrating that I couldn't pull the paint out. Magentas in particular are unpigmented, matte and almost indistinguishable on paper. The purples also lack pigment and I had to rub them like crazy to get decent pigmentation, but all three purples look the same! Two patterns on paper add two different magenta colors and I can't tell the difference. Terrible. I gave up. *Not only could I not get the gradient you can see when I grabbed the brush and tried to get more color, there is an indecipherable hard line. I just can't use these colors in my work and even in my art magazine! That will spoil my impression! Again, I have a few cheap sets that I got even cheaper than the deal and that are really fun. Not perfect, but really great for the money. I can't use it. I certainly can't use it for drawing classes. I feel like my money was just taken from me. I'm a disabled artist and I'm always looking for available materials. This is by far the worst product and I very rarely write negative reviews. It's been a very bad week for me here. This is unacceptable. It's sad because it could be great. The empty pans were bad enough. But these colors are really awful and I'm throwing the whole set away. I just wasted my limited budget. I'm sad and I'm really angry. The only worthy aspects of the set are the two water brushes. I wouldn't recommend this for beginners. I don't think a beginner will even understand watercolor based on this mess. The return is so awkward, I don't have a car and I'm isolated so I don't know what to do. This experience made me very sad. My other 48 sets are similar and they're really good fun, so I'm totally shocked at how bad it is. I'm really confused by the good reviews. Maybe I just got a bad one. I just do not know. And I preferred it to Komorebi. Yes. That's what attracted me to this set. This is not what is shown at all. Never again. Very bad experience for a disabled artist on a very tight budget who thought I was getting something cool and fun. I literally cry about it.

Pros
  • HIGH PIGMENTATION - SUPERIOR LONG-LASTING PERFORMANCE: The highest quality, with an increased concentration of finely ground pigments with the highest resistance and durability, makes our hard water colors durable and non-cracking. And once dry, they no longer have a chalky or grainy feel. They blend easily, dry quickly, are fade resistant and have excellent flowability.
