Good set of soft brushes. Great for mixing and you can't beat the price. The kit I received has no odor problems. ***UPDATE*** I've been using these brushes for a few months now and they're holding up great. Honestly, I'm surprised at how good the quality is for the price. I particularly liked the foundation and contouring brushes, which is weird because I'm a fan of the beauty blender (I didn't like the blender that came with it, but it's definitely not the worst I've ever used), but the brush for The foundation works so well that I reach for it everyday and just use a blender to "finish" it and then smack the foundation in a little. The eyeshadow brushes are great too. To be honest I have TONS of brushes, cheap and expensive, and these are the ones I use most these days. I really didn't expect that! Purchase a second set as a replacement. ******UPDATE****** It's been about a year since I bought the first set and my brushes are still in perfect condition and are the ones I use every day. I like them so much that I started buying this set as a "starter" set for all my friends and family who are interested in cosmetics. I bought a set for my little sister in October and now I'm buying a set to give to my middle sister so she has the tools to create beautiful makeup and hopefully she catches the beauty bug too.
