The grip mounts easily by tightening the screw. While this is convenient, it also makes it vulnerable to theft as no tools are required to secure it. I wish there was some kind of wrench or special wrench that would secure it to the stem while still holding the bolt so the position on the stem could be adjusted a bit. The phone's grip forces you to touch the bottom half of the phone, otherwise the touch points will end up on the side buttons of the phone. This makes it less stable as it increases vibration at higher RPM for single cylinder bikes. The rubber braided accessory that comes with the X-Grip provides extra grip and reduces the half-inch lag that would otherwise force the phone to rotate to either side. I bought this mount based on the rave reviews but now regret it after learning the phone has a lag that causes it to rotate half an inch.
