Review So I was bored of being at home all day so I decided to buy some gel nail items because I wanted my nails don't look dead. Long story short, I've bought polishes from Beetles, Aimeili, and Modelones (all on Revain). Beetles and modelins came in the mail first, within 4-5 days. I looked them up on some plastic nail displays I also bought and immediately noticed that they both have such a thick consistency. But I put that aside and made the patterns as thin as possible so I could easily stack thin layers on top of each other. After curing, the modelones became thick, lumpy, uneven, and lost their luster, almost dull in appearance. I was upset because the pictures on the Revain product page made it look beautiful. The Beetles weren't perfect, but they were significantly better than the Modelones. The white was striped which is also a disappointment. With these two I've thought about returning them as I haven't used them on myself yet. BUT I am keeping them to myself to see how they look with the base and top coats to come. If the colors are better I will update this post. If not, I won't be updating this and you can rest assured my review will remain the same. However, the latest brand, Aimeili, surprised me. Probably because I kept getting frustrated, the more liquid consistency was great and there was still a lot of pigmentation. After curing they looked smooth and just like the ones I always get at salons. I have a hard time trusting gel polish reviews because a lot of people say they're that great, but when I look at the pictures they upload, they're not that great. I find it ridiculous to pay $6.99 for one color, but it's considered cheap! If I want a legal nail polish collection with at least 25 colors, it adds up. That's why I bought the tapes. Does anyone know of brands on Amazon that are good but not too expensive?
