I usually try to leave positive reviews but I really regret this purchase. Today I used my first bag. A thin blanket and some chopped memory foam. I put it in a bag and sealed it. Easy enough. When I started to suck the air out of the bag with the pump, I was glad to suddenly hear an unpleasant whistling noise. To my surprise, the pump is actually a whistle and not a suction device as I originally expected. It was hilarious how loud and obnoxious this pump was. However, I realized it would never expel the air, so I had to use a vacuum cleaner instead... Big mistake. My trusty Hoover has never had a problem in the few years I've owned it, ever. never - but it broke trying to use this product. I'm trying not to pour my anger, frustration and heartbreak into this review, but my vacuum cleaner died while vacuuming on a garbage bag and that is pathetic and demeaning. Note: The bag appears to be tear-resistant. If it's waterproof against a runny nose I'll replace it as I have severe allergies and no longer have a vacuum to clean the house and all the dusty laundry is lying around and can't be bagged. I hope this bag stays partially sealed for the rest of eternity, maybe then it deserves 5 stars, but I can't afford to replace my $200 vacuum and this purchase was a huge loss to say the least . I try to pack and move things. I need my vacuum cleaner back. Maybe it was just a coincidence or an accident, but I think it was cold-blooded murder. If you like your vacuum cleaner, you might not buy these bags :c Jokes aside, I'm very upset with my vacuum cleaner. But thanks for the whistle.
