The spring of the generator I used to start my caravan broke recently while hunting. (1982 Great Plains 20ft Reed with Hydroflame FA-7220D Furnace) This resulted in an increase in output voltage. I smelled burnt wire in the trailer. All the lightbulbs were burned out and the stove didn't work. Not even a click on the old-style thermostat wheel. I did a little research which led me to check the ignition board. It had a large black burn right in the middle of the chart. I ordered Dinosaur's UIB L Post on my smartphone at a hunting camp. Easy. Two days later I was back in business. The wiring was plug n play.
