I do not recommend this extension cable with three USB ports and one USB-C port I work with multiple iPads and crank them up Tag how the charge will be deleted. Using my dedicated 4-port charger, the next one was ready to go as I discharged an iPad. With this 4.5A device available through three ports, I figured I could charge a 2.1A iPad and also run a USB-powered router that doesn't use a lot of power. No, I didn't check. I accepted. So the first iPad ran out of battery, I plugged it into this power strip/charger and went to the second iPad. When it was over, I went back to my first one and got a real shock - the first iPad's charge dropped to 1% after three hours of charging! Now I had two dead iPads and two hours before work! The 2.1a power bank came to my rescue and actually charged the iPad while I was using it. I don't know how they split 4.5A across three USB ports (3 x 1.5A, not float 4.5, all you need), but that's not enough to charge an iPad with the screen on . If they put in three (true) 2a ports I would rate it much higher. I'll try a USB-C to Lightning cable to see if it can hold up.
