Horizontal/Vertical DVD Shelves

I really like this shelf because the DVDs are on the back and the titles are easier to read than the DVDs standing upright. However, if the DVDs are on their backs, they will fall out as the attached mount moves the mount too far from the wall. I can tolerate DVD but it's not what I wanted. I'm trying to decide whether to save and just use the shelves horizontally or go back. I want all my DVD and VHS cases to be together without having to keep them on separate storage stands. So I'm disappointed.
