Why did I buy this?

This is by far one of the more ridiculous things I have ever purchased. What I thought:I need some new erasers, and these look like they'll be nice to use in my sketchbook. Why would I get a set of those dusty pink erasers, when I can get a box of decent erasers? When you math it out, they're only 20 cents apiece. What I got:A thunderous bang on the front door, followed shortly by a solid dead smack on the concrete slab below. It was strikingly reminiscent to coming home wasted at 3 am, and struggling to make it inside before quickly giving up and spending the night on the porch.I retrieved my package from the doorstep. Nearly throwing out my feeble back.Opening the package, I was met with a perfectly pristine box. Heavenly light shone from inside, like the contents of Samuel L Jackson's suitcase in Pulp Fiction. Shiny and new, holding the promise of rubbing away all of my sins. I removed the treasure from the dim amazon cardboard, and slowly peeled away the delicate tape circles that were charged with the duty of safely preventing all of the contents within from spilling out.Inside I found 5 pounds of perfectly cut rectangular slabs. Cold to the touch, it was soothing like a reprieve on the naked floor of your basement after a full day of yardwork on the longest, hottest, August afternoon. Each layer separated by the most graceful leaf of parchment.I am struck with the realization that I am childless and have no one to bestow this bounty upon when I finally meet my end. A single tear trickles from my duct. They're great erasers. Definitely get them, take a few, and donate the remainder to your local public school, Scout troop, or community center.

Pros
  • Doesn’t crumble when erasing. Good size and thickness to hold and erase with.
Cons
  • May tear paper if used incorrectly
