Review on VICTEK Female Keystone Couplers White by Antonio Urbina

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Hard clips but bushings are strong.

received keystone wall panel jacks. In my opinion, the easiest option was to plug an ethernet cable into the back of the wall plate jack. What also influenced my decision was the fact that I already had an RJ45 crimp tool but no punch tool. So I crimped the RJ45 jacks on the cable, plugged it into one of those keystone jacks, connected it to the wall plate and installed the plate. After everything was ready, I made sure my router was getting a full 1Gbps connection, meaning all pins and wires were in good contact and there were no transition errors. The only "problem" I had was that the clip on these connectors is very hard/rigid and you really have to put in some effort to get them into the wall plates, or especially if you accidentally snap one of want to push them out. turn it upside down All in all, I didn't break a single clip, so I'm not deducting a star for that. Eventually I found an additional use for them. You can use it as a cable sleeve for two cables if for some reason you need to temporarily extend a short cable. I wouldn't use it as a permanent connection and hide it somewhere deep in the wall, not that it couldn't take it. But because all cable connections must be open and accessible. If there are any problems in the future, it will be much easier to diagnose them this way. Anyway, I digress. I liked these bushings and if I needed more I would buy them again without hesitation.
