ok - mixed feelings about this dress. The dress itself is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. The detail is absolutely amazing for the price point. The "ivory" color is barely distinguishable from the "white". it is not a true ivory. I ordered a second one of these because I thought the first was white. The second arrived soaking wet and covered in black mold - yuck. I ordered a third (because I wasn't able to truly check the color of the second), but the ivory truly is just barely off white. Credit to the seller, no issues at all with returns.In terms of fit - this dress is sized large. My daughter is 90th percentile height and weight as a 6 year old, the size 6 dress was perfect for length, but way too big around the middle. If you have a solid child, this dress has room. If a slimmer build, expect to get some alterations done. However, the dress is so beautiful it is totally worth having taken in. the side seams are simple and the shoulder straps/sleeves are designed to be easy to alter as well.If the color works for you, take a chance and buy this one. it is truly stunning.
