Review on πŸ›΄ Razor Lux Kick Scooter Blue - Smooth and Stylish Ride for All Ages by Harry Tulsa

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Thin, two fell apart quickly

Obviously the build quality has come down significantly from the 15 year old razors we still have that have been reliable for years. With strong reviews and a well known brand I assumed they would hold up well. Two A5s started falling apart after moderate use. The new one I got a month ago only had black plastic with a rubber strap to hold the steering wheel in place when I dropped it walking to my garage. The scooter has been used half a dozen times for a one way trip. The previous A5 didn't last long, the swivel column blocked and I couldn't turn the scooter more than 30 degrees in any direction without great effort. Finally, three separate scooters (two A5s and a Malibu Cruiser) seem prone to a loose steering column nut. This is a design flaw as the threads to screw it into place don't have a locking mechanism and the only way to keep the scooter from making that awful rumble is to use a collar clamp to lock the nut in place keep.

Pros
  • Extra large urethane wheels make for a super light and comfortable ride
Cons
  • Safety
