I use this unit to easily switch between a Raspberry Pi 4 device that I enjoy fiddling with and my laptop that I don't always have with me connected to the network. A Logitech multi-device keyboard and mouse that lets you easily switch from one device to another with just a few keystrokes. I was a bit concerned that the Raspberry Pi might not supply enough juice to power the junction box, but that wasn't the case. The box sits on my desk, so it's very easy to press the source select button. There's no remote control, so putting it behind a TV or something like that gets awkward. For my application this works great. I only use 2 of the 3 inputs but I like being able to expand it if I want to. Since the keyboard and mouse can also be paired with 3 devices for multiple devices, there is little combination.
