So I'll admit I haven't used these Biore strips for a number of years. Long enough to notice that the "technology" of these lasts has changed over the years. The ones I used dried much faster and didn't feel fluffy. You just took them out of your pocket, wet your nose, moistened the strip, put it on and then waited 5-10 minutes before taking it off. These new strips take longer, have the extra step of cleaning them off a piece of plastic, and take 10-10 minutes to finish. 15 minutes to dry (I think it's longer because of the cotton backing which probably takes longer to dry). After applying it, I noticed that it doesn't cover the tip of my nose like it used to. When I moved the strip down, part of the bridge of the nose remained open. So I later used part of another strip to use for the tip of my nose. It's a waste of a strip (but I trimmed the strip to fit so I have a surplus to use elsewhere, at least lol). Overall the experience is the same. When the strip dried, it turned into the papier-mâché I was used to. Removing the strip was easy and not as painful as I expected after not using the product for so long. After removing the rest of the strip and washing my face, I noticed my nose was getting a little red. I managed to smother my skin for 10-15 minutes with the strip and the 'glue' she uses lol. The redness went away almost immediately, but the swelling persisted for another 30 minutes. Again nothing to worry about as I was careful not to have any skin reactions. However, I have very sensitive skin and was prepared that this would cause some kind of reaction (the old Biore strips did the same). back then to my nose). But I was pleasantly surprised that I had no side effects from the process and today, about a week after using the strips, my nose still looks great. So I think I will use them from time to time in the future.
