Edit: The brightness is ok, enough for what we need it for but the main problem is that they don't shine. I didn't measure the time, but they turn off automatically after about 20 minutes. We use them as a light signal. I put one on my mom's door and when someone enters the bathroom, they use the remote control and turn their light on red to let her know they're busy (she always complains that every time she goes to the toilet walks, someone laughs). . Blue means someone is in the shower. And I also have one in front of my door (you can see the light glowing at night and even in low light) so at night if she's awake (she sleeps during the day and stays up at night) it turns my light on green let me know that she is, so when my baby wakes up I know I can take her to mom. I just have to be careful because our lights are pretty close together. So if I use the remote for one, it does both and I have to manually turn off the other. But the hold is great! And I can turn the light on and off if I need the light for something at night. I really wish they were wi-fi enabled! I would be happy if I could turn her light on from my room and vice versa so if she turns the light on green but then falls asleep she doesn't have to get up again and turn it off and then I wake up and see it green and think that she woke up lol. I know a simple text would do, but if she texts me at, say, one o'clock and falls asleep, I don't know she's asleep. But the light will be on all the time, showing that she's still awake. And the same with the bathroom. In any case, I wouldn't recommend it just because they don't stay on until you turn them off. That sort of defeats the purpose of what we are using the Ms for and I assume someone will be using them for. And yes, we checked and replaced the batteries.
