Review on Catit Style Scratcher Catnip Jungle Stripe by Amy Dockery

These things are JOKE. They were cheap and readily available for a few years since I first found them but for some reason after the Covid hit they got harder and harder to find and when I found them I managed to find them, they sold for over $30 each (when they used to be only €7 each) but one day they finally came back and at their original price and of course I was happy and bought some for my cats just to hurry to be told when I got them that they are now ORIGINAL HALF SIZE (many people have already shared photos comparing the original to the new so I won't add photos) and not only that, but the SAME PRICE LIKE THE ORIGINAL. My smallest cat is small in her litter and less than half the size of an average cat (to put her size on the recipe, she weighs only two pounds more than she was when she first came out of cathood as a teenager and it didn't get bigger - this has nothing to do with health, she's healthy, she's just small, so don't worry 😊) and even she barely fits on this thing and if she tries to scratch it, she is very uncomfortable as she has to put her body in an odd position. which in turn meant that she very rarely attempted to scratch him. I really don't even understand why they stopped making originals and why they can't make originals anymore - these new tiny ones are literally made out of the exact same material and look the same, just smaller so the materials are there 😐. It's as if the company that makes them is only concerned with making money and nothing else - halving the original size but charging the same amount as the originals and sometimes even more and worse, they use cheaper methods to making them now (within a minute) when I get the new ones, the zebra patterned sides have either already fallen off or were about to fall off). My cats are very picky so anything I get them is either sniffed and not used, used once but never again, left unused for about a week and never again, can be used once a month but the originals were literally the best just one thing they used and loved multiple times a day, every day. My poor little ones love them so much they're still scratching the almost dead ones (thanks to this company I can't buy the originals anymore and my heart can't take it if I take them away from them because they might never have them again - I'm stuck with the same 10 as a year ago). I've bought several other brands and shapes of cardboard claws to find replacements but my kids don't like them. PLEASE RETURN THE ORIGINALS! To be honest, at this point I would be willing to pay more to keep my cats happy 😿
