I like the thickness and it suits what it is intended for. Other than that, I don't have sensitive ears, but the earrings in this product hurt them a lot. At first I didn't understand what was going on. I waited a while to get up and the transition was very easy and smooth with no bumps whatsoever. A day later my ear was hot, tight and very painful. I took off that earring and replaced it with another one and immediately felt relief. The swelling went down, there was no more pain and no more feeling of tension. I thought it was an accident and tried again a month later when my earrings started falling out. Both the cone and the earring just hurt my ear. Not that it's too soon, but like it's toxic. I tried the old cone and it went through with no issues and no pain. Again. I like what they are for. The hardest part of sizing for me is putting the jewelry on. But whatever they are, it's not surgical steel or stainless steel. If you have sensitive ears I wouldn't recommend it.
