To be honest I expected less here as stainless steel is not a great one heat conductor is. But that's very good, this resistance seems to help spread the heat well over the entire surface of the pan rather than having hot spots that could cause problems later on. Keep in mind that this problem is mostly related to the pan and not the cutter. Both use the same non-stick surface and do a very good job of not sticking to anything. The only problem is the rivet that holds the pan handle, where dirt collects on and around the smooth surface of the rivet. 90% of the time cleaning this pan cleaned these two rivets, otherwise they are easy to clean. The spoon that comes with the kit is very convenient to use; However, when working with liquids such as soup, the spoon is awkward to use and I often spill it. The spatula isn't my favorite, but the rubberized plastic handle holds and manipulates it great, so it still plays nicely with my other two spatulas.
