Very happy to have found this clamp. It fits perfectly. I liked the others and bought a clip and I use a different holder. Mainly because I wanted my phone to be horizontal and the mount didn't fit. I bought this one, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NPK3V6R/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1, it took a bit of effort to get it working. The ball on the clamp is smaller. So I removed the balloon from the other mount and used a hacksaw to remove part of the vent clip from the balloon. I unscrewed the ball on the clip, drilled a tiny hole in the ball from the mount and screwed the clip in. A little effort but it took me the whole 10 minutes. Now I have exactly what I wanted. Also wanted to mention that I don't see how this could scratch your dash (which isn't leather). One notices: the further to the passenger side, the smaller the overhang on the Macan. It fits easily on the right side and you just put it on.
