Review on Nakii Pitcher Replacement Filter NFP 100 by Brandon Addison

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Filters fast, keeps my well water "fresh "

I never read reviews of replacement filters until I last ordered them (a week ago) and have had this water filter jug for a year now. Love the pitcher and think the refills are just as good as the original that came with it. Anyone who has ever had problems with the "speed" of filtered water must have soaked filters incorrectly. You have to soak it for 10 minutes. I put mine in a bowl, then add water (enough to submerge the filter) and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Change the old filter and off you go! I think it works great and the only time I had an issue was the first time I tried replacing it and that was because I hadn't soaked it properly. But after a few weeks it was fixed. I have well water that has a distinct iron taste out of the tap, but after it's filtered through a Nakii jug/filter you won't even know it's well water. for a long time you can't beat the price and i will keep buying these spare parts until something breaks or they stop making them.

Pros
  • LIFETIME - Each filter cartridge delivers a whopping 150 gallons (567 liters!) of refreshing, filtered water, just as nature intended. That's 300-400% more than the cost per filter compared to other standard carbon filters on the market.
Cons
  • Very expensive
