I brewed coffee in an ordinary kettle. The results were always different. Some days I ran out of a weak cup or spilled coffee grounds over the filter because I poured too quickly. I told myself I didn't have to buy a leaky kettle and just raise my arm at the right height. Then I started doing some research and saw great reviews for this Ovalware kettle. , including some customer videos (thanks!). I finally bought it and I am very happy with it. I have much more control over each cup of coffee. The taste is good and persistent. As mentioned, there are two holes in the lid that you can stick a thermometer in to make sure you're at the right temperature. (By the way, I'm open to suggestions for a better thermometer - can I keep one?) The Ovalware RJ3 is aesthetically pleasing, the handle stays cool, and I can finally control the spout. It makes a difference and the price of this kettle is very reasonable. We recommend! ** UPDATE Nov 2017: I've still been using this kettle 2 times a day for 1.5 years. It still looks great and works great.** UPDATE August 2021: I've still used this kettle every day for five years, 2 times a day, and this week the lid fell off when I was pouring it (too much pressure inside the kettle). . boiling water) and the lid's black handle broke as it fell to the ground. I hate throwing away the kettle but I need a handle on the lid so I'm wondering if the seller has a replacement handle I could buy?
