Better than any other brand of resin I've used.

I am very satisfied with this brand of resin. Now one of my top choices and I will buy again. My process and experience is as follows: I have used both heated and unheated resin and both experiences have been very similar. When heated (just a few degrees above room temperature) the filling was smooth and mixing was smooth as well. There are some bubbles when mixing, but they disappear when pouring. There is no strong smell. I feel great without the protective mask and felt safe to let it heal in my bedroom due to the lack of smell. There were very few bubbles and they quickly disappeared. There were almost no bubbles in the final cured pieces (two of my trickier molds each had a bubble. Easy to fix and no big deal). Types of resin I've used. Resin and hardener are very clear before, during and after pouring (the warmer the mix, the clearer). The moment my pieces were half set I tested them and they were still tacky so that would probably be the perfect moment to add heavier items to allow them to sink in (I haven't personally tested this but there are still some different parts planned, so there will be more updates in the future.). At about 3/4 cure I pulled my pieces out as they were still slightly bent. I used a razor to clean up the edges of the filling. If the resin isn't fully cured when you scrape the edges, that works great and avoids rough edges later. I laid all my pieces on my tile and let them dry completely. You looked great! I had matte molds and glossy silicone molds, so some of the parts took on the matte finish of the matte molds (I'll post photos). When they healed I was very happy. Very transparent, no bubbles whatsoever inside the product, making this resin ideal for simple botanical pendants with plants/insects etc where no pigment mixture is used. STRONG healed. The parts are very durable and can withstand rough treatment. The shiny pieces are very smooth and look perfect. Didn't use gloves and had no reaction throughout the process. If any resin gets on your hands, simply wipe it off with a paint rag. The tar chips from the shaving touch-ups didn't cause any skin reactions on my skin. This brand boasts of food safety, I haven't personally tried them to that end but can post an update with something food related. Will post continuous updates on this product. Definitely recommend. Easy 5 stars. (My first resin session mixed metallic mica and fine glitter. Easy mix. Large glitters sank to the bottom. Not everything sank to the bottom so I was happy with that too).

Pros
  • Epoxy glue
Cons
  • Very expensive
