A good product, more pros than cons.

I recommend this toy because there are no alternatives on the market. This is the most detailed toy of good quality. Looks great and all kids love it. Yes, her price is not so hot, but reliability is lame, but there are no alternatives -: I don’t know what this is connected with, but my child has never used a steering wheel key on any SUV. It may well be that this is, as it were, an intervention in the car and he thinks this way it becomes not like a real one. Whether there will be cracks in this black plastic, time will tell, but this is not a problem. The second main problem with all swivel wheel off-road brooders is the swivel mechanism. In the Land Rover, it was extremely unsuccessful - at the steering knuckle, the fastenings of the steering tips stupidly fell off. In the Wrangler, they redesigned the entire steering knuckle and changed the length of the steering, it helped, but not much. The Dodge uses a mechanism like a Wrangler. I do not hope for long-term reliability. Unfortunately, this mechanism is rather capricious and I could not fix it on all previous cars so that it was like from the factory: somewhere the wheels are no longer swivel and the suspension is not spring, somewhere it sticks on epoxy ledges, etc. All the inscriptions that you see on the body are stickers: on the rear bumper there is a number, on the grille of the rabiator there is an inscription RAM, side stripes and nameplates. The side stickers are translucent and air bubbles are visible straight from the factory. In principle, there are no problems with the stickers, but we have 8 brooders and absolutely all the stickers look unpresentable. If you take the car outside and then wash it, the stickers will either peel off or rub off quickly. There is not a single inscription about Dodge on the car and there is no nameplate with a ram, which means that certification has not passed completely.

Pros
  • Looks great. Both the front and rear lights are not stickers. Made of transparent plastic and inside silvery and multi-colored inserts - it looks chic. No paint anywhere 4 doors open. The side opens, and the open one does not dangle Suspension design like most off-road brooders. The rear and front axles are made as beams with two springs. Accordingly, they bend and go up and down. The front wheels turn like in most SUVs: the wheels turn and the steering wheel turns in the cab. You can turn the wheels: with the hands of the wheel, the steering wheel from the cab and at the bottom there is a steering wheel key. The hatch moves in the cab and a steering wheel key is inserted into it, the torsion mechanism is located between the seats. In the hatch you can buy separately flashing lights 02-802 Salon worked out fine. There is door trim, figured seats, instrument panel. In general, it's okay. It is clear that it was possible to paint it in several colors, make a bunch of stickers, but it would be more expensive. All wheels are rubber, do not leave marks on the floor, do not paint (unless, of course, they are not rubbed on the asphalt with all their might). The tires are soldered to the rims and are not removed, lost, or crooked. Bruder wheels never fall off the axles, they are mounted on metal pins. The rear wheels, I mean, cannot be removed from the axle, and the front wheels are removed, but only by an adult man with a tool and ingenuity - the child will not be able to do this and will rather break the knuckle in half. Included is a tow bar for small trailers (not for trucks) - you can buy additional trailers. Front removable mount for winches or plows. (they must be taken from other sets or purchased separately) Side mirrors on latches. The right one was removed at the factory so that the car fits into the box - you need to latch it yourself. Attached to the body on the screed. The trunk is red on the outside, black on the inside with texture. At the bottom there are 2 places for attaching boxes. Fasteners are made in the form of 4 recesses. such recesses are found in many brooder SUVs. In the Wrangler, the rear seats are attached to them.
Cons
  • The hood does not open. At all. At all. No way. I don't know what stopped them from doing it. Doors. Vnedor with doors were only two firms: a jeep and a land rover. In real cars, the doors are hinged on the outside. Bruder transferred this to toys and it turned out that the doors are the first thing that breaks. And what do you think they came up with in the new model? They made the same loops, then inside. In short, this is idiocy: on the body there is a shallow area at the top and at the bottom of it are small depressions. There are thin plastics on the top and bottom of the door, at the ends of the pipka plates, which are inserted into the depressions. It's the same as before, only topsy-turvy. Two doors fell off stupidly on the first day of the game, until they broke and put back. Bruder changed the internal mechanism for turning the wheels. Because of this, the wheels turn much easier than in previous models. If you play with the key, then there is no problem. But if you try to start the car in a straight line or just drive it, then it constantly tries to turn the wrong way. Maybe thanks to the new design, brooders will be able to survive a trip through the sand, but not a fact. What does the inquisitive 2022 mind think? Correctly, this problem is easy to solve - you need to stupidly apply a little thick indelible grease to the shaft and gears. And here we come to the next drawback: Made in Germany. This is a disadvantage, because The Germans do not assume that someone will repair their cars. Therefore, here, as in any brooder, a one-time non-separable snap-on design. (Glue, sealant, gaps .) All brooder SUVs have the same rims. It looks miserable when you have 6 cars and all have the same wheels and tires. And what did they come up with? That's right - again the same discs. Only now they are black. I don't understand, maybe the disc designer retired in the brooder or what? Well, you have developed a completely new car, a completely new design, what's the problem with making other unfortunate wheels? In previous models, the spokes always burst on the discs, but the discs never all and never broke.
