Review on Shark Pet-Perfect SV75Z: Cordless Bagless Hand Vacuum for Carpet and Hard Floors, Gray by Paul Monzon

Bought because it had a rotating brush, was economical and had good reviews. It never worked well from the start. The battery is completely discharged within a very short time. Later I smelled something very hot coming from the engine compartment. And finally, it just wouldn't turn on, even though the battery was fully charged. Looking through other reviews I saw people reporting the same issue as me. I disassembled the vacuum cleaner and found a blown microcircuit. This chip controls the power delivered to the motor and cannot get the job done as intended. At some point there was a short circuit. I don't think it's worth repairing, so I searched and found a handheld vacuum with the features I needed. Although this vacuum cleaner is more expensive, it works like a charm.
