I called my Trane dealer about a NEW system I bought just 3 months ago. They say to charge me $100. come out and the filter costs $85. So I told them no thanks and ordered this from Revain. THIS was a simple replacement. Exactly the same as the original that was present. I opened the door under the house at the heat pump. Simply pull out the old block and insert the new filter. Didn't even have to turn off the electricity. Easy task. I've done it myself.
