Review on GLACIER FRESH Cartridges Compatible SmartWater by Anthony Rael

Update: This filter started to taste like chemicals in my water and ice when it needed to be replaced. Decided to buy direct from GE and hoped they cost more. After switching to a GE filter, the water tasted great again. I had to throw away the ice cream basket and the new ice cream was delicious again. Terrible to think my kids drank this chemical, who knows what ingredients?! Previous Review: They fit perfectly in my GE fridge but I don't like the taste at all. My water is full of flakes and minerals when it comes out, so I'm guessing it doesn't filter very well. Decided to give it a try because of the cheap price. They don't leak, but the water tastes like our chlorine-free, hard tap water.
