Love these little stairs. They were easy to assemble and durable. My mistake is that I didn't measure the height of the bed before buying it. I guess my mattress is really high because it's only halfway up. I bought these for my small dog who has short legs and a heavy body so is not good at jumping. I hope he learns to use them as stepping stones and climb onto the bed from the top step. Something tells me he won't be interested. He's the only dog that can't jump on the bed, so he even wanted to get on the field. Lets see what happens. If he doesn't want anything to do with it, I give it to my mom, whose chihuahuas have a hard time climbing on the couch. This is the perfect height for a sofa or chair.
