I am 66 years old and have been on and off freshwater and/or reef aquariums my entire life. This is the only "algae killer" I've tried that actually killed the algae and not the aquarium inhabitants. I bought all three formulas. The freshwater formula worked in my outdoor pond. The reef formula didn't kill the clown fish fry on the aquarium wall!
