EDIT Downvote: The rubber band wears out fairly quickly, to the point where I stretch it and the rubber part sticks out. It interferes with my shifting. If I don't stretch it that far, it's too loose and that gets in the way too (starts to slip). I've also found that I tend to push the shifter closer to my toe than the contact area. This can work if you wear larger shoes. But I stopped using it and don't recommend it. Original post: This is very good. It's advertised as being worn rubber side up, but I prefer the rubber side down because when the soft part is down it's not really "slip-proof". Sometimes I wear trainers and use them to cover up.
