So Frustrating - Arts & Crafts

Bought for a 6 year old as a birthday present. She showed interest in learning to sew and did other small projects. She spent many agonizing hours until I finally stepped in and helped her. I have many years of sewing and quilting experience but it was so frustrating! The fabric didn't match the shape of the pillow so we had gaps and loose spots. Eventually I took it apart and taught him how to sew on the machine. The only thing she could do unaided was flower arrangements.
