I bought the Snapzoom bino holder as an alternative to my current bino adapter. It is very easy to set up, just attach the tripod base plate to it and snap it onto the tripod. While I'm out in the field, all you have to do is strap on your binoculars. This makes it very quick and easy to switch from walking and observing to sitting and from using a tripod to observing in the field. I also found it to be a very stable platform to rest the rifle on while shooting. Haven't tried my spotting scope yet, but I don't see how it wouldn't work for this.
