Review on 🍽️ NESCO FD-1040 Gardenmaster Digital Pro Dehydrator: The Ultimate Jerky and Snack Maker with 4 Trays by Tracy Smith

I have had an American Nesco food processor/dehydrator for years (20) and wanted to order more trays to dry a plethora of apples. Since it was no longer available, I decided to use another dehydrator, the Nesco FD-1040 Gardenmaster. This dehydrator has more power and can handle more trays, but it's not as powerful as the previous model when compared side-by-side with the same number of trays and the same apple slices. The first, less powerful dryer has a fan at the bottom, a temperature controller. The apples dried out quicker and got crunchier, which is how we like it. Also, the old model's plastic shells were more durable, so I hope this model will hold up as well as the old one.
