I used it on a 2500 mile motorcycle trip and it worked very well. I had to change the foam inserts to accommodate the fact that my Garmin has the power connector on the side instead of the middle. Foam inserts have a slot in the center of the bottom, and the cord also enters the case through the center of the bottom. It's not really important, but something to be aware of. One problem I had was that the GPS device would overheat and the screen would go blank for a while. After it cooled and closed again, I opened about a third to dissipate some of the heat. I never had a problem with it again. A tip if you use it on a motorcycle. I bought a right angle USB cable from Revain to fit flush into the case. link below. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PGJ67N4/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_32 I also have a semi-recessed power plug that plugs into my bike's DC port. on the plug and on the GPS device. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the overheating issue and the need to modify the foam inserts, but after ironing out all the "bugs" everything was fine. up the mountain and there were some bumpy roads that made for a lot of hopping. The device worked wonderfully and I would definitely buy it again if the need arose.
