The lid on my old one broke; One person (DH) didn't know how to use it and twisted it so hard it broke. I loved the old one. They're a bit smaller, but there are two of them. Perfect for my Brain Octane Bulletproof Oil, for my coffee. Update: I washed the bottle and poured in oil from an old bottle. I didn't use bleach, just dish soap. There wasn't much left so I poured it back into the bottle it was in and used it up so that bottle sat on my counter until last night. I grabbed it and inside it looked growing like a kombucha nut or a vinegar nut, thinner, pink and fluffy. Couldn't fault the leftovers, I used up the oil and I have a coconut oil dispenser on the same counter. There must have been something in the bottle. Now it's sitting on my sink with bleach and soap. After cleaning, rinsing and drying it I'll try again but with just a little bit of oil to start with. I hope this takes care of what grew there. Unfortunately I ran out of oil and have to wait for it to come from Revain. Moral of the story: Bleach clean before use.
