Used Tripp Lite Keyspan serial to USB adapter in my observatory. They're good, but not good enough for several major imaging devices. Not Keyspan's fault. I ran into a bug and decided I needed a more specialized way of customizing serial devices. It worked great! I run it remotely via an Icron (LAN) USB extender a few hundred yards from home. My hardware dictated that I should use a special "card" but working with a laptop made this impossible. So I got this and it solved all my connection problems. And I run it without an external power supply.
