Review on AILUROPODA Cutter Protective Handles Certification by Heather Hernandez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Feels like it's learning and doing as it says, but has some considerations

Sturdy construction, comfortable to hold. The black blade looks great, especially with the walnut handle. I think a single walnut handle on top would be even better so you don't always have to hold it with two hands or pull it out of a drawer. Due to the weight, it is dangerous to hold it with one hand. Honestly, I wouldn't have thought about it, but I expected the designers to figure it out during testing. The blade guard is good and there is a latch on one side to keep the guard from slipping off. This is a great product design! My biggest complaint is that the blade is described as "super sharp", which is not the case at all. I actually had to apply some pressure to get a clean cut on my test pizzas. I'll sharpen it myself to see if I can get it sharp enough to actually make a clean cut. All in all it's not a bad cutter and I think after some sharpening I'll find it very useful. I don't think it lives up to expectations from the outside.

Pros
  • Household and kitchen
Cons
  • A few small things
