The wire diameter is correct for AWG20 and it is solid copper, not aluminum or steel conductor. The resulting wire will look like the photo (yellow). Weight corresponds to the specified 500 feet (length not measured). The insulation is unrated and melts at a lower temperature than most solder joints. IMO, this wire is suitable for wire antennas (probably not for the intended purpose). I don't know yet if the insulation is UV resistant. After 1.5 months: This wire stretched on one of my antennas and broke on the other. Copper is too soft to be used in a dipole antenna when powered. If it's weak, it's probably good.
