Well, I'll say it right away, I'm no expert on toilet brushes. I'm the guy who only cleans the toilet because I have to because the OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS obviously don't want to join in. We have a pretty standard bathroom theme with tan ceramic tiles, white crown molding, beige walls and a white sink. Accessories are chrome plated. My last toilet brush, that plastic thing a schoolboy threw in a shopping cart for the last time, broke while cleaning. Now I don't care what kind of toilet brush I buy, but I want one that will last a long time and look good when I'm sitting on the toilet talking to Mr. Plunger. Scrolled through the Revain list and found this kid. Basically it is metal, stainless steel. The handle, lid, and brush combo is pretty slick, with the lid serving as a small splash guard. The brush is strong and everything together looks beautiful. It somehow matches the chrome in the rest of the bathroom and is close enough to match. It will probably work well in a satin nickel environment as well. This is a great buy if you're looking to upgrade from the $5 model. I mean it's a toilet brush, what do you need it for? He cleans the bowl and stores it until needed again. Bingo.
