I really love it. I have a 17 inch alien which is a large laptop. It said it could fit a larger laptop so I took a chance. It looked too small when I received it, but I tried and it was wrong. smooth but very durable. It easily handles a 17 inch screen and can be adjusted to any desired height/angle. The fan is super quiet. It doesn't seem to blow much, but I can already tell that the temperature difference is already there after 30 minutes of use. Alien tends to heat up very quickly. My old stand didn't cool it enough. and this one is wow. If it continues to work properly this will be one of my favorite purchases of late. Definitely worth 5 stars.
