I bought a black case, I've had it for about a year now so I don't know if this counts as normal wear and tear, but the black case has scratches on the top and bottom. Also, the light has turned too yellow for me, so I don't use it anymore, but it does a great job of protecting your phone. My real screen has no cracks on the front and back. So if you want a protective, durable phone that's difficult to remove, get this one. If you plan to buy one every year, but it's still smaller than a Lumee, you should definitely get one.
