I read some reviews before buying this tool. I found most of the previous buyer's concerns about the puller to be true. It broke during use. It was difficult to turn the handle to put enough force on the wiper arm to disengage it. However, being a DIYer, I had to spend $40 on a mechanic's tool or $10 on a one-time project. The tool worked for me. I kept squeezing with the pliers and gently tapping the end of the wiper arm. With a lot of patience, the wiper arm could finally be detached. If you plan on using your tool more than once, buy the $40 tool. If you're a DIYer like me, buy a $10 tool. Much luck!
