great flashlights. I have about 7 strings of these battery operated lights in my backyard garden. I had 2 strands, lasted 4 years I think. Batteries last almost 3 months plus or minus a week. I put the battery in a ziplock bag to keep it as dry as possible. my husband actually had to fix it several times with electrical tape because squirrels sometimes chew on it. easy to fix and they just keep working. I like the "set and forget" timer. I install them at sunset when I change the batteries so they turn on just before dark and I think they stay on for 8 hours. My 2 most recent threads have been updated with the new 12 hour setting and the 8 hour setting. love my lights
