This app did exactly what I hoped it would. While I love what Swiffer rags do, I hate what they do to the environment as they aren't recyclable so I looked for a zero waste alternative and this is it! As you can see in the video, you can gently dust large areas of countertops without damaging the lamps and other objects on the countertop. It also works great with ceiling fan blades, the articulating arm allows for effortless wiping of dust from the top, bottom and sides of the blade without knocking down the dust cloud; it's all sucked up by the vacuum cleaner before it has time to fall anywhere. The bristles of the brush are very soft and do not create dust like the round brush that comes with the vacuum cleaner. I've never had to take the EZ SPARES off the vacuum to pick up dust from the bristles. The round brush just seems to scatter dust; while the EZ SPARES eliminates this in much the same way as the Swiffer lobe. The brush's bristles are soft enough to dust hanging picture frames without removing them from the wall, electronics without lifting them, and look spectacular on lampshades. . I have a couple of raw silk and kraft paper lampshades that cling to any rag and won't be cleaned with a round brush, but I was able to "brush" the lampshade back and forth with no problem and all the dust was gone by the time they were looked at again like new. This product far exceeded my expectations.
