I just realized that I've never reviewed this scale, but it seems I've owned it since 2009, so 11 years! I bought this to weigh packages for my online sales (eBay etc). My daughter recently used it to weigh her meal portions. It has multiple weight options (grams, pounds, ounces, etc.) and a tare option, which we like. Also, being able to detach the front reading mechanism is very convenient when you have a large box, plate, etc. that is blocking your view. The investment in this practical product has paid off 100 times over. I also bought a matching power cord which still works after all these years. I can only hope that the scale and the power supply have improved over time because what I bought 11 years ago was worth it.
