I didn't want to part with my desk, nor did I want to spend time polishing and painting it again just to have thermal rings, nail polish, felt-tip pens and crazy glue from my kids spoil it again. This product was a PERFECT easy fix for me, albeit not as quickly as I really took my time as it was my first time. I sanded the top lightly, as some reviewers recommend, to improve grip. This paper is thick and very durable! It is easy to install after you align it and work it neatly. It sticks quickly and requires a lot of force to pull out and adjust. I've used maximum force to pull it out a few times and it hasn't ripped ANYTHING OR AT ALL! I have a few creases from having it creased/folded but I am still happy with the finished product. I covered the edges in one area and while you can feel it, it's not really noticeable. In another area I put the edges next to each other and everything was perfect. I used 3 casters on this table, of which there was a small piece of each. I will definitely buy more from this brand. I just wish they had a bigger selection of prints because this is my new quick fix now.
